Our clients for the My Ginga app project were a group of eight passionate partners who envisioned creating a multifunctional fantasy app tailored for football enthusiasts. They wanted to target specifically the Malaysian audience. As football enthusiasts and having felt the power of ‘Ginga,’ they wanted to create an application that would allow fans to easily immerse themselves in the world of football. They were to create a single, integrated, One Stop Centre for all things football and this included all aspects of fantasy sports along with a marketplace within the same environment. User Friendly Interface
We designed an intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface, ensuring users of all ages can effortlessly explore and enjoy their football experience. The layout is clean and responsive, making football content accessible with minimal effort.
Comprehensive Football Data
We incorporate a rich football feed for users to access match results, statistics and standings of the fixtures, tournaments, and top leagues. It is also useful for collecting all the necessary information for football fans within one site.
Real Time Updates
With this feature it is easy for subscribers to access real-time updates of match results and fixtures. This feature provides the latest result and schedule of the games making this application a live and updated application for a football fanatic.
Marketplace Integration
We integrate the feature of selling products like t-shirts and shoes with stickers having Ginga on them within the app. This integration gives the fans a single platform where they can purchase all related football merchandise and at the same improve their experience.
Fantasy Football Team Management
This allows users to create their fantasy football teams and administer them. This feature enables the fans to construct their teams and also modify according to the game weeks to participate on the fantasy side of the application.
League Participation
There are many features, and the users can challenge friends and also join private, public, or limited-access Ginga Leagues. This feature makes the presence of the app more valuable for its users and creates a competitive environment for football fans.
Leaderboard and Prizes
To motivate the participants, we incorporate a scoring system to present the best performers in the Ginga leagues, including attractive gifts for the first three participants. This feature keeps the users on their toes trying to maintain their competitiveness and actively manage their fantasy football teams.
Group Tournaments
People may create groups of up to 10 users and play against each other in group vs. group tournaments. This feature helps to improve the competitiveness of the app and gives the ability to fight in big and massive matches to the users.
Project Overview
My Ginga, a many utilization dream application for football sweethearts, allows clients to make their groups from separate clubs. It allows the opportunity to challenge friends to Ginga Leagues – Private, Public or Exclusive. Besides the fantasy sports, My Ginga has a wonderful marketplace incorporated within the site which makes it a complete package for football. It also makes users more involved and competitive when the top three scorers of the Ginga group league are given stimulating prizes. Developed from scratch using the native Android and iOS technologies and powered with the strong PHP/Laravel backend, the My Ginga app bridges football enthusiasts and their favorite sport.
Project Objective
The main goal of the My Ginga app was to design an engaging and comprehensive application that can act as a bridge between Malaysians and soccer. This strategy was based on the usage of native Android and iOS technologies combined with a reliable PHP/Laravel backend, which we sought to build an engaging app for creating fantasy football teams, challenging friends in Ginga leagues, and participating in the competitive environment with valuable prizes for winners. Furthermore, the introduction of an inclusive marketplace within the app would also increase user engagement and provide the consumers with everything needed to be enveloped in the football culture, make My Ginga a one-stop shopping center for everything football, fantasy sports and all connected merchandise.
Challenges
When designing the My Ginga application, there were several major issues that emerged as critical that we could not avoid while addressing them differently. One of the primary hurdles was fetching real-time data from football statistics providers. The problem of providing users with accurate and timely data was essential for the app to operate efficiently, particularly for owners of fantasy leagues and live score updates. Also, we had to model numerous football situations to calculate scores correctly, which requires numerous algorithms for various football events and performances of the players. Another difficulty was incorporating an auto-substitution system linked to the performance of real players; it required a more elaborate and accurate logic to substitute fairly while strategizing the proper replacement for users’ fantasy team. Thus, it was crucial to address these challenges in order to provide passionate football fans with engaging experience through utilizing my Ginga.

The Impact We Made
The impact of the My Ginga app has been significant, especially following its recent launch. Our clients outlined initial objectives to reach more than 500 users, and this is the number we are approaching very fast. The app also uses real time football data on events hence keeps the users up to date on affairs affecting the application. The auto-substitution system introduced played a fair and strategic role in replacing a player with a better option for better user experience. By navigation ease, ample football information and Ginga merchandise marketplace the environment is incredibly engrossing.
